Le Registre du commerce tunisien a franchi jeudi 16 juillet une étape symbolique en célébrant son centenaire, sous le thème « Cent ans au service de l’économie ». La cérémonie, présidée par le ministre de l’Emploi et de la Formation professionnelle, Riadh Chaouad, s’est déroulée en présence de Mohamed Adel Chouari, directeur général du RNE, marquant ainsi un siècle d’accompagnement de l’économie tunisienne.
Dans son allocution, le ministre a insisté sur la portée symbolique de ce centenaire, qui vient couronner cent années d’histoire des transactions commerciales et d’accompagnement des grandes transformations qu’a connues la Tunisie sur les plans juridique, économique et technologique. Il a rappelé que les registres de commerce constituent aujourd’hui une véritable infrastructure numérique de l’économie nationale, sur laquelle reposent les services liés à l’investissement, au bénéfice du développement et de la création d’emplois. Il a également salué un siècle d’évolution continue, qui a vu le registre passer du statut de simple outil d’enregistrement des sociétés à celui de plateforme intégrée de suivi et de gouvernance de l’ensemble des acteurs économiques.
De son côté, Mohamed Adel Chaouari a retracé les grandes étapes de ce siècle d’existence, structuré autour
de trois moments clés : la création du registre de commerce en 1926, sa modernisation à partir de 1995, puis la naissance du Registre national des entreprises en 2018, véritable tournant dans l’histoire de l’institution. Il a saisi l’occasion de ce centenaire pour annoncer l’achèvement de la numérisation globale des services du registre, les opérations d’enregistrement, de dépôt et de mise à jour à distance étant opérationnelles depuis le 1er juillet 2026, avec pour ambition de faire de cette institution centenaire un modèle national de gouvernance des données, conforme aux meilleurs standards internationaux.
Pour marquer dignement ce siècle d’existence, un hommage a été rendu à plusieurs personnalités qui ont, tout au long de leur carrière, contribué à écrire cette histoire et à moderniser le registre de commerce puis le Registre national des entreprises.
Les célébrations du centenaire se sont achevées par l’inauguration d’une exposition documentaire retraçant, documents et archives à l’appui, ce siècle d’évolution, tout en ouvrant une fenêtre sur l’avenir du Registre national des entreprises et sa vision pour les décennies à venir.
