L’Institut national de la météorologie (INM) a alerté, dans un bulletin publié ce vendredi 17 juillet, sur une vague de chaleur intense attendue sur l’ensemble du territoire. Selon les prévisions, le temps sera chaud et partiellement nuageux sur la majorité des régions, avec un épaississement progressif des nuages en après-midi sur les hauteurs de l’ouest du Nord et du Centre. Des cellules orageuses locales, accompagnées de pluies éparses, pourraient également se former avant de gagner certaines zones de l’Est en fin de journée.
Concernant les vents, l’institut annonce un régime de secteur sud, faible à modéré, s’orientant en fin de journée vers le secteur nord au Nord du pays, et vers le secteur est au Centre et au Sud. La mer, quant à elle, sera peu agitée à agitée.
Les températures, en légère hausse, devraient osciller entre 40 et 44°C près des côtes et sur les reliefs, et atteindre entre 45 et 48°C sur le reste des régions, avec l’apparition du sirocco (Chehili).
Face à ces conditions extrêmes, l’INM appelle à la vigilance et recommande d’éviter toute exposition prolongée au soleil, de s’hydrater régulièrement et de veiller particulièrement aux personnes vulnérables, notamment les enfants et les personnes âgées.
