Le ministère des Affaires culturelles a annoncé le décès de l’artiste populaire Salah Farzit, survenu ce samedi 18 juillet.
Né en 1953, le défunt s’était fait connaître dès les années 1970, période où son étoile avait brillé dans le domaine de la chanson. Il est considéré comme l’un des créateurs les plus marquants de la chanson populaire tunisienne.
Salah Farzit est reconnu comme l’un des grands rénovateurs de la musique populaire en Tunisie. Son public le connaissait à travers un large répertoire de chansons, parmi lesquelles « Erdha Alina Ya Lemima », qui avait connu un immense succès et s’était profondément ancrée dans la mémoire collective de la chanson populaire, à la portée humaine et sociale.
