La 67e édition du Festival international de Sousse accueillera, le 21 juillet 2026, le spectacle « Odyssée Symphonique » qui sera présenté au Théâtre plein air de Sidi Dhaher. Conçue et composée par le maestro Rafik Gharbi, cette œuvre majeure propose une fusion audacieuse entre l’héritage musical tunisien et arabe et la grandeur de l’orchestration symphonique occidentale.
Sous la direction du chef d’orchestre Fady Ben Othman, accompagné de la Troupe Tunez Ensemble, le projet se veut résolument moderne. Loin de la simple reprise, il réinvente des classiques et présente des créations originales de Gharbi. Sur scène, les voix de Lilia Ben Chikha, Mayssoun Fatnassi et Allam Aoun s’associeront à des musiciens de talent pour offrir des performances variées, combinant solos, duos et improvisations.
Ce voyage sonore se distingue par un dialogue instrumental unique, où le luth et les rythmes vibrants du Gnawa croisent le souffle contemporain du saxophone. Le spectacle intégrera également un hommage particulier à une figure emblématique de la musique tunisienne.
En associant ainsi authenticité et innovation, « Odyssée Symphonique » s’impose comme l’un des rendez-vous phares de la programmation du Festival international de Sousse, illustrant brillamment la capacité du patrimoine arabe à se renouveler et à s’ouvrir sur l’universel.
