Le Tunisia Global Forum (TGF) fera son retour le 21 juillet à Tunis dans le cadre de la troisième édition du Diaspora Month, une initiative organisée par l’Association des Tunisiens des Grandes Écoles (ATUGE) et ses partenaires; S’étendant du 15 juillet au 15 août, le Diaspora Month ambitionne une nouvelle fois de renforcer les liens entre la diaspora tunisienne et l’écosystème économique national.
Qualifié de « grand rendez-vous » par Amine Aloulou, président de l’ATUGE, le Tunisia Global Forum réunira plus de 2 300 participants, 150 entreprises et start-up exposantes ainsi que plus de 50 intervenants.
Quarante ans après le séminaire pionnier consacré à l’intelligence artificielle organisé par l’INRIA en 1986, l’IA constituera le fil conducteur de cette édition, comme un clin d’œil au passé. Pour Tarek Bouacida, coordinateur du Tunisia Global Forum, les mutations technologiques en cours représentent un enjeu stratégique majeur : « Sous nos yeux, l’intelligence artificielle redessine l’architecture de l’économie mondiale ». Pour lui, le modèle de croissance, l’adaptabilité du capital humain et, in fine, la souveraineté technologique sont en jeu pour la Tunisie.
Le programme du Diaspora Month s’articule autour de plusieurs rendez-vous majeurs, dont le Tunisia Global Forum constitue le point culminant. En amont, un AI Hackathon se déroulera du 17 au 19 juillet à Tunis. Il rassemblera des étudiants tunisiens de Tunisie et de la diaspora autour de défis proposés par des entreprises, avec une remise des prix organisée lors du Tunisia Global Forum. Le 29 juillet, la Diaspora Summer Night réunira les participants à Carthage lors d’une soirée de gala.
Enfin, tout au long de la période comprise des rencontres régionales baptisées Diaspora Regional Networking (DRN) seront organisées dans plusieurs villes du pays, notamment à Gabès, Sfax, Sousse, Djerba, Hammamet, Béja et Bizerte, afin de favoriser les échanges entre les compétences tunisiennes de l’étranger, les entrepreneurs et les acteurs économiques locaux.
