\n\tDans un communiqué<\/a> publié sur son site officiel  le lundi 7 juillet 2014,Human Rights Watch a présenté son avis qui incite les législateurs tunisiens à réviser le projet de Loi relatif à la lutte contre le terrorisme pour le rendre pleinement compatible avec les normes internationales concernant le droit à un procès équitable, au respect de la vie privée et à la liberté d’expression.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAinsi selon <\/span>HRW<\/a>, cette loi antiterroriste de 2003, a été utilisée par l’ancien régime pendant des années « pour étouffer la dissidence en limitant la liberté d’expression, d’association et de réunion ».<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHRW assure que le nouveau projet de loi sur la lutte contre le terrorisme contient plusieurs améliorations par rapport à l’ancienne loi tel que la réparations aux victimes du terrorisme, notamment la gratuité des soins de santé dans les hôpitaux publics et l’assistance judiciaire et l'interdiction des autorités d’extrader ou d’expulser vers un autre pays une personne accusée de terrorisme quand il existe des risques sérieux que cette personne y serait confrontée à la torture ou à des traitements inhumains.\n<\/p>\n
