L’Office national marocain du tourisme (ONMT) a fait savoir que le Maroc a accueilli plus de 12 millions de touristes en 2018. Selon le directeur de l’ONMT, Adel Fakir, ce chiffre est en hausse de 8% par rapport \u00e0 2017.
Le Maroc se classe ainsi comme la premi\u00e8re destination touristique en Afrique et la 30e mondiale. Selon le responsable marocain, les performances du secteur a\u00e9rien depuis l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de l\u2019Open Sky, les actions de promotion et de commercialisation de la destination marocaine et la mise en place d’une strat\u00e9gie nationale permettant un d\u00e9veloppement rapide des infrastructures notamment le TGV figurent parmi les principales raisons de l’effervescence du secteur touristique au Maroc.
