La fin de la semaine \u00e9tait charg\u00e9e pour la douane. Un passager tunisien a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9 \u00e0 l’aube de ce dimanche 14 avril 2019 \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport Tunis Carthage. Selon un communiqu\u00e9 de la direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la douane, il transportait quelques 210 comprim\u00e9s de drogues. L’homme habite en France.
\nAutre annonce de la douane : l’interception d’une op\u00e9ration de contrebande \u00e0 Tataouine, effectu\u00e9e dans l’apr\u00e8s-midi du samedi 13 avril 2019. Des contrebandiers ont voulu commercialiser une grande quantit\u00e9 de tabac de marque \u00e9trang\u00e8re contrefaite. Ils ont voulu entrer dans le territoire tunisien par le d\u00e9sert de Tataouine, au niveau de la zone de Machhed Salah.
\nApr\u00e8s avoir collect\u00e9 des informations sur les d\u00e9placements des contrebandiers, les unit\u00e9s douani\u00e8res leur ont tendu une embuscade\u00a0 pour les arr\u00eater. La marchandise \u00e9tait transport\u00e9e dans un camion. Somm\u00e9s de s’arr\u00eater, les contrebandiers ont acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 l’allure afin de prendre la fuite. Les pneus de leur v\u00e9hicule ont \u00e9t\u00e9 crev\u00e9s \u00e0 cause du pi\u00e8ge tendu par la douane.
\nAu total, 26 500 paquets de cigarettes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 saisis selon la douane. Apr\u00e8s une s\u00e9rie d’investigations, il s’est av\u00e9r\u00e9 que le num\u00e9ro d’immatriculation du camion n’\u00e9tait pas inscrit sur les registres officiels.
\nAutre r\u00e9ussite pour la douane \u00e0 Tataouine : la saisie d’un v\u00e9hicule de type 4×4, sans immatriculation, transportant 444 kg de tabac de chicha et 11 500 paquets de cigarettes en provenance de Libye.<\/p>\n
