L&rsquo;une des questions qui se pose porte sur son maintien \u00e0 la t\u00eate de la Kasbah. S&rsquo;il d\u00e9pose sa candidature, compte-t-il d\u00e9missionner du poste du Chef du gouvernement ? Intervenant dans <em>Houna Shems<\/em> ce jeudi 8 ao\u00fbt 2019, le porte-parole du gouvernement, Iyed Dahmani, a \u00e9t\u00e9 interpell\u00e9 sur cette question. Il a refus\u00e9 de s&rsquo;exprimer sur le sujet de la candidature. N\u00e9anmoins, il a affirm\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une candidature de Youssef Chahed ne signifie pas forc\u00e9ment sa d\u00e9mission du gouvernement.<br \/>\n<em>\u00ab\u00a0La d\u00e9mission du Chef du gouvernement signifie la d\u00e9mission du gouvernement entier. Or, il est impossible de constituer un nouveau gouvernement et de charger une personnalit\u00e9 nationale de mener des concertations sur le sujet. Celui qui appelle \u00e0 la d\u00e9mission de [Youssef Chahed] souhaite certainement reporter les \u00e9lections. Je ne pense pas que le Chef du gouvernement compte charger quelqu&rsquo;un d&rsquo;autre pour lui succ\u00e9der\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>, a-t-il expliqu\u00e9.<br \/>\nDans toutes les d\u00e9mocraties, poursuit le porte-parole, le chefs des gouvernements poursuivent leur travail normalement m\u00eame s&rsquo;ils sont candidats \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle ou \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence du Parlement. L&rsquo;important, selon lui, est de ne pas profiter de l&rsquo;appareil de l&rsquo;\u00c9tat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Youssef Chahed n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas au courant de l&rsquo;intention d&rsquo;Abdelkarim Zbidi de se pr\u00e9senter \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidentielle<br \/>\n<\/strong>D&rsquo;autre part, Iyed Dahmani est revenu sur la d\u00e9mission du ministre de la D\u00e9fense, Abdelkarim Zbidi, qui s&rsquo;est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la course \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidentielle.
