La branche britannique du g\u00e9ant fran\u00e7ais du ferroviaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9e lundi \u00e0 une amende de 15 millions de livres (environ 17,5 millions d&rsquo;euros) pour corruption en Tunisie \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque de l&rsquo;ex-pr\u00e9sident Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, a indiqu\u00e9 l&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 britannique charg\u00e9e de la d\u00e9linquance financi\u00e8re. En plus de cette amende, Alstom devra s&rsquo;acquitter de 1,4 million de livres de frais, faisant grimper la facture \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 19,2 millions d&rsquo;euros, selon le Serious Fraud Office (SFO).<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: black\">Alstom \u00e9tait accus\u00e9 d&rsquo;avoir pay\u00e9 2,4 millions d&rsquo;euros \u00e0 l&rsquo;entreprise Construction et Gestion Nevco pour s&rsquo;assurer de l&rsquo;obtention d&rsquo;un contrat de 79,9 millions d&rsquo;euros avec Transtu, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des transports de Tunis qui g\u00e8re le parc des autobus et du tramway dans la capitale. \u00ab\u00a0<em>En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, Nevco n&rsquo;\u00e9tait qu&rsquo;un moyen de payer des pots-de-vin<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, a soulign\u00e9 le SFO qui avait lanc\u00e9 son enqu\u00eate en 2009. Selon l&rsquo;accusation, les faits reproch\u00e9s se sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9s entre 2003 et 2006 et Nevco appartenait au beau-fr\u00e8re de Ben Ali, alors pr\u00e9sident. Ce dernier a \u00e9t\u00e9 chass\u00e9 du pouvoir en 2011 et s&rsquo;est exil\u00e9 ensuite en Arabie saoudite o\u00f9 il est mort en septembre.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: black\">Il y a un an, un ancien responsable britannique d&rsquo;Alstom avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 quatre ans et demi de prison pour la corruption de responsables en Lituanie en vue d&rsquo;obtenir des contrats d&rsquo;une centrale \u00e9lectrique. Le SFO avait aussi poursuivi Alstom Network UK et trois individus pour des faits de corruption concernant un contrat de fourniture de rames au m\u00e9tro de Budapest. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et les trois personnes vis\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 jug\u00e9es non coupables fin novembre 2018.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: black\">Alstom \u00ab\u00a0<em>prend acte de la condamnation<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb dans le dossier tunisien, a r\u00e9agi le groupe dans une d\u00e9claration \u00e9crite transmise \u00e0 l&rsquo;AFP. \u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est la seule condamnation sur les 4 accusations port\u00e9es par le SFO contre ANUK (filiale britannique d&rsquo;Alstom, NDLR) concernant des projets de transport\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il pr\u00e9cis\u00e9.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: black\">Le groupe se dit aussi \u00ab\u00a0<em>convaincu<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb que \u00ab\u00a0<em>cette condamnation met un terme \u00e0 la longue proc\u00e9dure engag\u00e9e par le Royaume-Uni et portant sur des faits pass\u00e9s<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, et assure s&rsquo;engager \u00ab\u00a0<em>\u00e0 \u00eatre une entreprise leader en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;\u00e9thique et de conformit\u00e9, non seulement en France mais aussi \u00e0 l&rsquo;international<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\">(Source : <strong>Capital<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alstom va passer \u00e0 la caisse.
