C’est une grande premi\u00e8re historique pour la Tunisie, pour le monde Arabe et pour l’Afrique : Ons Jabeur vient de d\u00e9crocher son premier titre au tournoi de Birmingham ce dimanche 20 juin 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n

A 26 ans, Ons jabeur touche au but.<\/div>\n
Apr\u00e8s de nombreuses tentatives infructueuses, elle remporte enfin\u00a0 le premier tournoi WTA de sa carri\u00e8re professionnelle en battant en finale du tournoi Viking Classic de Birmingham la Russe Daria Kasatkina, 35e mondiale et t\u00eate de s\u00e9rie n\u00b04, dimanche 20 juin 2021 sur le Ann Jones Court.<\/div>\n
La championne tunisienne, 24e mondiale et t\u00eate de s\u00e9rie n\u00b02 s’est impos\u00e9e en deux manches (7-5, 6-4).<\/div>\n
Apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re manche accroch\u00e9e conclue en 50 minutes, l’enfant de Ksar Helal a men\u00e9 (4-0) au d\u00e9but du second set, avant d’\u00eatre remont\u00e9e (4-3) et de conclure en roue libre (6-4).<\/div>\n
Cette 2e manche a vu un arr\u00eat m\u00e9dical de plus de trois minutes suite \u00e0 la blessure \u00e0 la gorge de la joueuse russe en se griffant par \u00e9nervement apr\u00e8s avoir perdu un point.<\/div>\n
Ons Jabeur est la premi\u00e8re joueuse arabe \u00e0 remporter un tournoi professionnel du circuit WTA de tennis.<\/div>\n
