Un avion transportant environ 7 tonnes de fournitures m\u00e9dicales vitales est arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 Kaboul en provenance de l’Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9 (OMS) en collaboration avec les \u00e9quipes op\u00e9rationnelles et logistiques de Qatar Airways.<\/p>\n

Selon un communiqu\u00e9 officiel de l’OMS, les m\u00e9dicaments ont atterri \u00e0 Kaboul le 4 novembre. Il s’agit du quatri\u00e8me vol transportant des fournitures de l’OMS \u00e0 arriver en Afghanistan de Doha depuis le 30 ao\u00fbt 2021.<\/p>\n

Les fournitures comprennent des m\u00e9dicaments pour le traitement de 5 000 enfants souffrant de malnutrition aigu\u00eb s\u00e9v\u00e8re, de diarrh\u00e9e, de pneumonie, d’infections des voies respiratoires sup\u00e9rieures et d’autres affections.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les besoins en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 en Afghanistan sont plus importants que jamais et nous agissons rapidement pour rem\u00e9dier aux p\u00e9nuries de fournitures m\u00e9dicales afin de maintenir les services de sant\u00e9 vitaux. Les enfants sont les premi\u00e8res \u00a0victimes du syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 d\u00e9faillant du pays.<\/p>\n

L’OMS est reconnaissante du soutien du gouvernement du Qatar pour s’assurer qu’ils ont acc\u00e8s aux m\u00e9dicaments vitaux dont ils ont besoin pour survivre et prosp\u00e9rer.<\/p>\n

Depuis le 30 ao\u00fbt, quatre vols du Qatar vers l’Afghanistan ont livr\u00e9 un total de 60 tonnes de fournitures de l’OMS, ce qui est suffisant pour couvrir les besoins de sant\u00e9 urgents de pr\u00e8s de 1,5 million de personnes, selon le communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u00ab L’\u00c9tat du Qatar f\u00e9licite l’OMS d’avoir envoy\u00e9 une aide vitale d’urgence \u00e0 l’Afghanistan en ces temps difficiles. Alors que le pays continue de soutenir l’Afghanistan par le transport a\u00e9rien facilitant les voyages, il exhorte la communaut\u00e9 internationale \u00e0 continuer de fournir une aide d’urgence \u00e0 l’Afghanistan, en particulier avec la propagation des nouvelles variantes du COVID-19 et la saison hivernale qui approche \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Dr Mutlaq AlQahtani, envoy\u00e9 sp\u00e9cial du ministre des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res pour la lutte contre le terrorisme et la m\u00e9diation dans la r\u00e9solution des conflits.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
