Un colis suspect a \u00e9t\u00e9 abandonn\u00e9 par un homme au pied de l’autel de la cath\u00e9drale Saint-\u00c9tienne de Toulouse. L’\u00e9difice religieux a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vacu\u00e9 vendredi matin en pleine messe, \u00e0 la suite de l’irruption d’un homme qui a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 ce colis suspect avant de s’enfuir, a-t-on appris de sources concordantes. Selon une source proche de l’enqu\u00eate, le colis contenait un engin explosif artisanal de forme inhabituelle, sans dispositif de mise \u00e0 feu. Le quartier a aussit\u00f4t \u00e9t\u00e9 boucl\u00e9 par la police et des d\u00e9mineurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9p\u00each\u00e9s sur les lieux, a constat\u00e9 l’Agence France-Presse.<\/p>\n

Le ministre de l’Int\u00e9rieur, G\u00e9rald Darmanin, qui avait signal\u00e9 sur Twitter une \u00ab op\u00e9ration de police dans le centre-ville de Toulouse \u00bb en demandant d’\u00e9viter le secteur, a ajout\u00e9 moins de 45 minutes plus tard que l’op\u00e9ration \u00e9tait \u00ab termin\u00e9e. Aucune victime \u00bb.<\/p>\n

L’homme soup\u00e7onn\u00e9 d’avoir plac\u00e9 l’engin explosif a \u00e9t\u00e9 interpell\u00e9 en d\u00e9but d’apr\u00e8s-midi par la police, a-t-on appris aupr\u00e8s du procureur. \u00ab La personne suspect\u00e9e d’avoir d\u00e9pos\u00e9 le colis a \u00e9t\u00e9 interpell\u00e9e et plac\u00e9e en garde \u00e0 vue, il va \u00eatre entendu. Il \u00e9tait connu des services de police \u00bb, a dit \u00e0 l’AFP le procureur de la R\u00e9publique de Toulouse.<\/p>\n
