Le d&eacute;fi actuel est maintenant l&#39;environnement et ce que le changement climatique pourrait nous r&eacute;server &raquo;, a d&eacute;clar&eacute; Barrak Alahmad, chercheur l&#39;Universit&eacute; Harvard &agrave; Boston et membre du corps professoral du College of Public Health de l&#39;Universit&eacute; du Kowe&iuml;t au Kowe&iuml;t.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 11px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%\">Les chercheurs ont explor&eacute; comment les temp&eacute;ratures extr&ecirc;mes peuvent affecter les maladies cardiaques &#8211; la principale cause de d&eacute;c&egrave;s dans le monde. Ils ont analys&eacute; les donn&eacute;es de sant&eacute; de plus de 32 millions de d&eacute;c&egrave;s cardiovasculaires survenus dans 567 villes de 27 pays sur les 5 continents entre 1979 et 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 11px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%\">Le changement climatique est associ&eacute; &agrave; des variations substantielles des temp&eacute;ratures extr&ecirc;mement chaudes et froides, de sorte que les chercheurs ont examin&eacute; les deux dans la pr&eacute;sente &eacute;tude. Pour cette analyse, les chercheurs ont compar&eacute; les d&eacute;c&egrave;s cardiovasculaires les jours les plus chauds et les plus froids de chaque ville avec les d&eacute;c&egrave;s cardiovasculaires les jours o&ugrave; la temp&eacute;rature &eacute;tait optimale.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 11px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%\">Pour chaque tranche de 1 000 d&eacute;c&egrave;s cardiovasculaires, les chercheurs ont constat&eacute; que les journ&eacute;es extr&ecirc;mement chaudes repr&eacute;sentaient 2,2 d&eacute;c&egrave;s suppl&eacute;mentaires. Par ailleurs, les journ&eacute;es de froid extr&ecirc;me ont caus&eacute; 9,1 d&eacute;c&egrave;s suppl&eacute;mentaires.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 11px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%\">Parmi les types de maladies cardiaques, le plus grand nombre de d&eacute;c&egrave;s a &eacute;t&eacute; constat&eacute; chez les personnes atteintes d&#39;insuffisance cardiaque.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%\">Les chercheurs sugg&egrave;rent que des syst&egrave;mes d&#39;alerte cibl&eacute;s et des conseils aux personnes vuln&eacute;rables pourraient &ecirc;tre n&eacute;cessaires pour pr&eacute;venir les d&eacute;c&egrave;s cardiovasculaires lors de temp&eacute;ratures extr&ecirc;mes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 11px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%\">&quot;Nous devons &ecirc;tre au courant des expositions environnementales &eacute;mergentes. J&#39;appelle les organisations professionnelles de cardiologie &agrave; commander des lignes directrices et des d&eacute;clarations scientifiques sur l&#39;intersection des temp&eacute;ratures extr&ecirc;mes et de la sant&eacute; cardiovasculaire.
