Le champion olympique tunisien Oussama Mellouli vient d\u2019\u00eatre officiellement intronis\u00e9 au International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF), un prestigieux panth\u00e9on d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux l\u00e9gendes de la natation mondiale.<\/p>\n

\"\" Mellouli participera ainsi \u00e0 la 60e c\u00e9r\u00e9monie annuelle d’intronisation au qui se tiendra \u00e0 Singapour en parall\u00e8le des Championnats du monde aquatiques 2025. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement marquant r\u00e9unira des laur\u00e9ats, des l\u00e9gendes du monde aquatique et des invit\u00e9s prestigieux venus des quatre coins du globe. Pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans l’histoire de l’ISHOF, la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie se d\u00e9roulera pendant les Championnats du monde aquatiques, avec la promotion 2025 honor\u00e9e le 28 juillet 2025, en marge des comp\u00e9titions aquatiques de premier plan.
\nLa promotion 2025 incarne l’excellence mondiale dans le domaine aquatique, avec 11 laur\u00e9ats exceptionnels issus de neuf pays diff\u00e9rents. Cette ann\u00e9e marque \u00e9galement une premi\u00e8re historique pour l’ISHOF, avec l’intronisation de repr\u00e9sentants du Kowe\u00eft, de l’Inde, de la Tunisie et de Singapour, des pays qui n’avaient jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 honor\u00e9s auparavant au sein du Temple de la renomm\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Dans un post publi\u00e9 sur sa page officielle Facebook, Oussema Mellouli a partag\u00e9 son immense fiert\u00e9 et sa gratitude envers ceux qui ont fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 son parcours.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Ce titre est un immense honneur, car il ne vient pas cette fois-ci de mes performances dans l\u2019eau, mais du vote des plus grands sp\u00e9cialistes de la natation mondiale\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il soulign\u00e9. Pour Mellouli, cette reconnaissance rev\u00eat une importance particuli\u00e8re, car elle inscrit \u00e0 jamais son nom et celui de la Tunisie aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des figures embl\u00e9matiques qui l’ont inspir\u00e9 dans sa jeunesse, \u00e0 l\u2019instar du Russe Vladimir Salnikov, premier nageur \u00e0 passer sous la barre des 15 minutes au 1500m nage libre, ou encore de l\u2019Australien Kieren Perkins, double champion olympique.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 les nombreuses distinctions re\u00e7ues au fil de sa carri\u00e8re \u2013 y compris de la part de pr\u00e9sidents et de dirigeants \u00e0 travers le monde \u2013 l\u2019athl\u00e8te consid\u00e8re cette cons\u00e9cration comme unique. \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019aurais aim\u00e9, enfant, \u00eatre comme ces champions, et aujourd\u2019hui, mon nom figure \u00e0 leurs c\u00f4t\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb, confie-t-il avec \u00e9motion.<\/p>\n

Mellouli \u00e0 \u00e9galement rendu hommage \u00e0 tous ceux qui ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 son ascension : ses entra\u00eeneurs, dirigeants, journalistes, m\u00e9decins, amis et supporters, ainsi que ses parents, qu\u2019il \u00e9voque avec une gratitude infinie. \u00ab\u00a0Il m\u2019est impossible d\u2019exprimer pleinement le r\u00f4le immense qu\u2019ils ont jou\u00e9 dans ma vie\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e9crit-il.<\/p>\n
