Les tribunaux v\u00e9n\u00e9zu\u00e9liens l\u2019ont emp\u00each\u00e9e de se pr\u00e9senter \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle de 2024, l\u2019\u00e9cartant ainsi de toute comp\u00e9tition contre le pr\u00e9sident Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, au pouvoir depuis 2013.<br \/>\nLe Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l\u2019homme a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 Machado, son porte-parole, Thameen Al-Khitan, soulignant que cette distinction refl\u00e8te \u00ab\u00a0les aspirations du peuple v\u00e9n\u00e9zu\u00e9lien \u00e0 des \u00e9lections libres et \u00e9quitables ainsi qu\u2019au respect des droits civils et politiques et de l\u2019\u00c9tat de droit\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\nCette ann\u00e9e, le comit\u00e9 Nobel a choisi de mettre en lumi\u00e8re la situation au Venezuela, \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 le pr\u00e9sident am\u00e9ricain <a href=\"https:\/\/realites.com.tn\/fr\/trump-prix-nobel\/\">Donald Trump<\/a> avait multipli\u00e9 les d\u00e9clarations affirmant qu\u2019il m\u00e9ritait le prix. Les experts avaient toutefois estim\u00e9 qu\u2019il ne pouvait l\u2019obtenir, au regard de ses actions per\u00e7ues comme contraires \u00e0 l\u2019ordre mondial que valorise le comit\u00e9 Nobel.<br \/>\nTrump a souvent laiss\u00e9 entendre qu\u2019il m\u00e9ritait le Prix Nobel de la Paix, notamment en raison de certaines initiatives diplomatiques men\u00e9es pendant son mandat dont notamment les <a href=\"https:\/\/realites.com.tn\/fr\/mise-en-application-des-accords-de-trump-sur-gaza-premiers-pas-et-incertitudes\/\">derniers accords sur Gaza<\/a> ayant men\u00e9 \u00e0 un accord entre le Hamas et l&rsquo;entit\u00e9 sioniste.
