P\u00e9dagogue visionnaire et infatigable promoteur du savoir, il a fa\u00e7onn\u00e9, durant plus d\u2019un demi-si\u00e8cle, les fondations de l\u2019enseignement \u00e9conomique et de gestion en Tunisie et dans le monde arabe.<\/p>\n<p>Ayant obtenu toutes ses qualifications sup\u00e9rieures aux Etats-Unis, cet universitaire incarne cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pionni\u00e8re qui a su conjuguer ouverture internationale et engagement national. Son parcours illustre une vie enti\u00e8rement consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9dification d\u2019institutions acad\u00e9miques solides et \u00e0 la transmission du savoir scientifique.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es d\u2019enseignement aux \u00c9tats-Unis puis en France, il revient au pays anim\u00e9 par la conviction que la Tunisie doit former ses propres cadres et b\u00e2tir une \u00e9conomie fond\u00e9e sur la comp\u00e9tence. Il dirige l\u2019Institut sup\u00e9rieur de gestion (ISG) de Tunis, avant d\u2019\u00eatre charg\u00e9 en 1974 de poser les bases d\u2019un projet ambitieux : la cr\u00e9ation de la FSEG de Sfax, qu\u2019il conduira avec passion et rigueur jusqu\u2019en 1988.<br \/>\nAu-del\u00e0 de la Tunisie, son influence s\u2019\u00e9tendra bien au-del\u00e0 des fronti\u00e8res. \u00c0 partir de 1990, il s\u2019installe \u00e0 Riyad, o\u00f9 il fonde la Business School de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Roi Saoud. Pendant pr\u00e8s de trente ans, il y formera de nouvelles g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de dirigeants et conseillera de grandes entreprises saoudiennes, tout en contribuant \u00e0 la reconnaissance internationale de l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur arabe.<br \/>\nHomme de culture, d\u2019action et de vision, le professeur Khemakhem a laiss\u00e9 une empreinte durable dans les esprits et les institutions qu\u2019il a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 b\u00e2tir.
