Le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e des repr\u00e9sentants du peuple Ibrahim Bouderbala<\/span><\/span> a r\u00e9agi , ce mardi 14 avril 2026, \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture de la s\u00e9ance pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re, aux propos controvers\u00e9s tenus la veille par le d\u00e9put\u00e9 Tarek Mehdi<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que \u00ab ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 prononc\u00e9 hier par le d\u00e9put\u00e9 Tarek Mehdi, ind\u00e9pendamment de toute intention, bonne ou mauvaise, est contraire aux constantes du peuple tunisien, fond\u00e9es sur le respect de la dignit\u00e9 humaine \u00bb. Il a ajout\u00e9 que \u00ab le peuple tunisien ne permet pas qu\u2019il soit port\u00e9 atteinte \u00e0 la femme tunisienne \u00bb, pr\u00e9cisant que ces d\u00e9clarations ne refl\u00e8tent ni la position du Parlement, ni m\u00eame celle du d\u00e9put\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Dans son intervention, Ibrahim Bouderbala a rappel\u00e9 que la Tunisie est engag\u00e9e dans les principes universels des droits de l\u2019Homme et reste attach\u00e9e \u00e0 leur respect. Il a soulign\u00e9 \u00e9galement que la Tunisie fait partie int\u00e9grante du continent africain, rappelant qu\u2019elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019un des premiers pays \u00e0 abolir l\u2019esclavage, en r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 son h\u00e9ritage historique et \u00e0 ses engagements en mati\u00e8re de dignit\u00e9 humaine.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident du Parlement a par ailleurs insist\u00e9 sur le fait que la Tunisie accueille les \u00ab fr\u00e8res africains \u00bb, tout en affirmant que le pays ne peut assumer les cons\u00e9quences des politiques coloniales pass\u00e9es ayant appauvri plusieurs soci\u00e9t\u00e9s africaines. Il a enfin affirm\u00e9 que l\u2019\u00c9tat tunisien ne permettra pas que le pays devienne une terre d\u2019installation pour les migrants en situation irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Des propos racistes sous la coupole de l’ARP<\/h1>\n

Il convient de rappeler que le d\u00e9put\u00e9 Tarek Mehdi<\/span><\/span> a tenu, lors d\u2019une intervention publique, des propos portant sur les femmes migrantes subsahariennes en situation irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re en Tunisie. En pleine s\u00e9ance, l\u2019\u00e9lu a tenu des propos d\u2019une extr\u00eame gravit\u00e9, m\u00ealant stigmatisation, sexualisation et banalisation implicite de la violence \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des femmes migrantes subsahariennes. \u00ab Violer une Africaine ? \u00c7a, \u00e7a ne se fait pas\u2026 les Tunisiennes, machallah, la beaut\u00e9 existe\u2026 franchement \u00e7a me fait mal de dire \u00e7a\u2026 on n\u2019a pas besoin de \u00e7a, la Tunisie a d\u00e9j\u00e0 tout. \u00bb a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ces d\u00e9clarations, prononc\u00e9es en direct, ont rapidement circul\u00e9 et suscit\u00e9 de nombreuses r\u00e9actions en raison de leur contenu sensible, m\u00ealant r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la violence sexuelle et g\u00e9n\u00e9ralisation sur les femmes migrantes, dans un contexte d\u00e9j\u00e0 marqu\u00e9 par un d\u00e9bat public tendu sur les questions migratoires en Tunisie.<\/p>\n
