Sa famille a annonc\u00e9 que l\u2019audience de son proc\u00e8s en appel a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement fix\u00e9e au vendredi 12 juin. L&rsquo;affaire sera examin\u00e9e par la 17\u00e8me chambre correctionnelle de la Cour d&rsquo;appel de Tunis.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour rappel, le tribunal de premi\u00e8re instance de Tunis avait condamn\u00e9 le journaliste \u00e0 une peine d&rsquo;un an de prison ferme. Cette sentence faisait suite \u00e0 des poursuites engag\u00e9es pour \u00ab atteinte \u00e0 autrui \u00e0 travers les r\u00e9seaux publics de t\u00e9l\u00e9communication \u00bb, sur la base du Code des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications. Il lui est reproch\u00e9 d&rsquo;avoir publi\u00e9 sur son compte personnel un statut critique concernant la gestion judiciaire du dossier de son confr\u00e8re, Khalifa Guesmi (lui-m\u00eame condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 cinq ans de prison pour avoir divulgu\u00e9 des informations s\u00e9curitaires avant d\u2019\u00eatre acquitt\u00e9).<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le parcours menant \u00e0 cette audience du 12 juin a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9 par un rebondissement strat\u00e9gique de la part du journaliste. D\u00e9but mai, Zied El Heni avait initialement annonc\u00e9 son refus d&rsquo;interjeter appel, qualifiant sa condamnation d&rsquo;arbitraire.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il est toutefois revenu sur sa d\u00e9cision quelques jours plus tard, pouss\u00e9 par ses avocats et une forte mobilisation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile.
